Day 01 – Arrival At Kota Kinabalu ( D)Airport transfer to Village home. In the evening photography session with traditional Kadazan costume. Learn Sumazau dance with Magagung (traditional gongs). Dinner with host amidst native story telling. Day 02 – City Tour + Garama River Safari (BLD)Morning city tour with a visit to Signal Hill for an overview of the city and the marine park. Photo-stop at Tun Mustapha Tower, Pu Toh Tze Buddhist Temple and the City Mosque. Visit the State Museum and finally the Handicraft Market. Lunch at a local restaurant. At 1400hr embark on 2hrs drive towards Southwest part of Sabah to AL-JO Riverside Café along the Garama river for an afternoon tea with snacks. Boat cruise through the wetlands along the Garama river amidst the tranquility and serenity of mangroves, nipah palms, shrubs and secondary vegetation, in search of the Proboscis monkeys and other wildlife like Macaque monkeys, the rare Silver Langur, birds and reptiles, flying foxes and water buffaloes. Watch the sunset (weather permitting) and hundreds of fireflies lighting up the trees. A sumptuous traditional Malaysian dinner will be served at AL-JO Riverside Cafe before returning to KK.
