Met and assisted upon arrival in Kota Kinabalu International Airport and transfer to Shangri-la Rasa Ria Resort. Upon arrival, welcome drinks will be served and proceed for check-in your own Private Ocean view room.

End your day with a Candle Light dinner at your hotel, one of the best restaurants in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. (Dinner included)

 

Meet Guide at lobby and embark on an Introductory Tour to the City of Kota Kinabalu.  Visit includes the grounds University Malaysia Sabah, Tun Mustapha Tower, Pu Toh Tse Buddish Temple, the City Mosque, the State museum and finally the Handicraft Market for shopping before lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, depart on a 2 hours drive away via coastal highway Kota

Kinabalu / Beaufort, towards the south west part of Sabah. Upon arrival at AL-JO Riverside Café, a welcoming afternoon tea before we hop into our boat cruise and take a first hand look at Borneo’s indigenous Proboscis Monkeys also known as “Dutchman Monkey” while cruising along the Garama River. Other wildlife like the Macaque, the rare silver Langur & flying foxes can be seen occasionally. Watch the sunset as the daylight fades into dusk and thrill yourself to the spectacular experience of hundreds of fireflies lighting up the trees.

End your day with a sumptuous traditional Malaysian dinner before returning back to your hotel and overnight. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included)

 

  Depart on a 2hr, 90km/55mi drive across the spectacular  Crocker Range to the ecologically unique environs of Mt. Kinabalu.  At Park HQ (1,540m/5000ft), visit the Education Centre and the Botanical Garden to see orchids, rhododendrons, ferns, pitcher-plants, kerosene trees and others.  Take a jungle walk near the Park HQ and learn more about the Montane Forest. 

After lunch, en-route to Poring Hot Springs (10kmn). Trek through a hill dipterocarp forest rich in wild fruit trees and animal life, passing giant bamboos and ginger plants with edible flowers to reach a jungle-canopy walkway 40m above ground. Then relax in open air outdoor tubs filled with hot/cold running mineral waters. Late afternoon, return back to KK for dinner before returning back to your hotel and overnight.

Meet your Guide at the hotel lobby and transfer to KK Jetty for a 20 minutes boat ride to Gaya Island to explore an uninhabited rainforest.  Watch for mud skippers along the boardwalk laid through the mangrove forest (1-1 1/2 hrs).  Cicada shrills, bird calls, and the occasional monkey class lend for an exotic atmosphere.

On to Sapi Island for lunch and an idyllic afternoon of sunbathing, swimming of just lazing in the shade on a tropical isle before returning to your hotel. Relax, refresh and the rest of the day at your own leisure.  (Breakfast & Lunch included)

 

After breakfast, own leisure until your transfer to the Airport for flight departure to Johor Bahru. Met and assisted upon arrival and depart for a 2-hrs drive to Tanjung Leman.  Ferry transfer will take 20 minutes to Sibu Island Resort jetty.  Welcome drinks of your own choice upon arrival and check-into your very own Suite room.

Walk over to The Spa for the Sibu Classic Massages. We start with the very relaxing head-to-toe aromatherapy oil massage.  Light to medium pressure.  Precisely, what you need on this very relaxing holiday.
